This Chinese Beef And Broccoli Stir Fry has tender, juicy beef and crisp, crunchy broccoli. All is mixed in a rich homemade sauce. Since moving to Sydney, I love Asian stir-fries more.

– Main Ingredient– 1 Pound Beef Steak (1 pound = 400 g)– 2 Cups Broccoli Floret– Stir Fry Sauce– 4 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce– 4 Tablespoons Water– 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce– 1 Tablespoon Chinese Cooking Wine– 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil– For The Stir Fry– 2 Tablespoons Cooking Oil– 2 Tablespoons Ginger– 2 Tablespoons Garlic– 2 Whole Dried Red Chillie– 1 cup Stock– 1/2 teaspoon White Pepper Powder– Salt

Make stir-fry sauce Put oyster sauce, soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine, and sesame oil in a small bowl.

Mix them. water, corn flour. Mix well. Make cornflower slurry with water and cornflour.

Prepare Beef Slice beef 1/8". Anti-grain cut. See sketch. Marinate sliced beef in 2 tablespoons stir-fry sauce and 1 teaspoon cornflour slurry for 10-15 minutes.

Stir Fry Add 1 tablespoon of oil to a large wok or skillet on high. Sauté beef slices in wok for 2-3 minutes until browned. Save wok beef.

Wok with minced garlic and remaining 1 tablespoon oil. Stir-fry 30 seconds. Cook cornflour slurry and stir-fry sauce until thickened.

Return beef to wok and stir. Stir-fry broccoli 2-3 minutes. Serve beef and broccoli stir-fry with steamed or cauliflower rice.
