Baked Donut Recipe

Making freshly baked donuts without yeast or other ingredients is simple. So you may make whatever you want, this recipe includes vanilla and chocolate icing! 

– 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour spooned & leveled (220 grams) – ⅔ cup granulated sugar (135 grams) – 1 teaspoon baking powder – ¼ teaspoon baking soda – ¼ teaspoon salt – ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg – ¾ cup buttermilk (180 ml) – 1 large egg lightly beaten – ¼ cup unsalted butter melted and slightly cooled (60 grams) – 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Bake donuts: Start oven at 350°F (180°C). Coat two 6-count donut pans with nonstick frying spray. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt, and ground nutmeg.

A well in the dry ingredients holds buttermilk, beaten egg, melted butter, and vanilla essence. Whisking until integrated thickens batter. Put batter in a big piping bag.

 For donuts, fill each cavity with batter about ⅔ full. Due 12 donuts. Scoop batter into donut holes without piping.

Baking donuts till a toothpick comes out clean takes 9–12 minutes. After 5 minutes, carefully take the donuts from the pans and cool on a wire rack.
