Baked Falafel Recipe

Plant-based meals are trendy for good reason. Healthline says plant-based diet reduces cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and cognitive decline and promotes weight reduction. 

Ingredient

– 2 (15-ounce) cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed – 1 teaspoon salt – ½ teaspoon pepper – 1 teaspoon ground cumin – 1 teaspoon ground coriander – 1 tablespoon parsley – 1 tablespoon cilantro – 3 tablespoons olive oil – 1 shallot, cut into chunk – 2 garlic clove

Direction

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Put everything into a food processor. Blend until it's mostly smooth but still has some chunks.

Make falafel balls about 2 inches across and put them on a big baking sheet that has been lined with foil.
