Best Gooey Sticky Cinnamon Buns Recipe

You can't make better gooey cinnamon buns! The best gooey caramel sauce in the pan on fluffy cinnamon rolls. They freeze well and are simple to prepare!

Ingredient

DOUGH – 1 cup whole milk – 1 1/2 ounce envelope active dry yeast – ¼ cup warm water – 3 tablespoons granulated sugar – 2 egg – ¼ cup unsalted butter – 4 1/2-5 cups all-purpose flour – ½ teaspoon salt FILLING – ½ cup unsalted butter – ½ cup granulated sugar – 1 cup packed light brown sugar – 3-4 Tablespoons cinnamon – 1 cup pecan – 1 cup raisin GLAZE – 2 cups confectioner’s sugar – 1 -3 tablespoon milk

Milk should boil briefly in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cool to room temperature after cooking.  Meanwhile, sprinkle yeast over warm water in a large bowl.

Add 1 tablespoon sugar and wait 5 minutes until foamy. Mix in eggs, butter, and 2 tablespoons sugar.  Mix in chilled milk.

Scrape bowl as you add flour and salt to make a soft dough. On a floured surface, knead the remaining flour into the dough, adding more if sticky.  Knead for 10 minutes until smooth. Soft dough.

Grease a big bowl. Put dough in bowl. Wrap in plastic and let sit in a warm place for 1 1/2 hours to double. Or cover and refrigerate for a slow cold rise and roll the next day.

FILLING Stir butter, sugars, and cinnamon in a medium bowl.

Make buns Dough punchdown. Roll dough into an 18 x 12-inch rectangle on lightly floured surface. Spread butter-sugar on dough.

GLAZE Make a smooth glaze with confectioners' sugar and 1 tablespoon milk, adding more as needed. More sugar thickens glaze. Invert buns onto platter. Pour 1/3 cup glaze over buns per pan.  Warm serve! ENJOY! Store leftovers in the fridge. Probably no leftovers.
