Cardamom Peach Cobbler Recipe

Great desserts differ from good ones. Peach cobbler is undoubtedly superb. Each taste has layers of juicy peaches wrapped in brown sugar and buttery, crunchy dough cooked to perfection.

Ingredient

– ½ cup, plus 1 tablespoon butter, cold, divided – 3 15-ounce cans peaches, drained – ⅓ cup, plus 3 tablespoons brown sugar, divided – ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom – 1 tablespoon lemon juice – 1 ¼ cups, plus 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, divided – 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder – ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon – ¼ teaspoon salt – ½ cup buttermilk – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Direction

Heat the oven to 350 F. Grease a 9-x13-inch or 9-inch circular baking pan with 1 tablespoon butter.

Mix peaches, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, ground cardamom, lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour in a large bowl.
