Banana walnut bread is great for breakfast, snacking, and dessert. Catherine Brookes of Blue Sky Eating created banana walnut bread using chopped walnuts for a delicate nut flavour and maximum crunch.
Ingredient
– 2 large, very ripe banana– 2 tablespoons milk– ½ cup butter, room temperature– 1¼ cups all-purpose flour– ¾ cups white sugar– 1 teaspoon baking soda– 1 teaspoon baking powder– 2 large egg– ¾ cup chopped walnut
Direction
Ready the oven to 320 F. Put parchment paper or a loaf cover in a 1-pound loaf tin.

Put the bananas in a big bowl and use a fork to mash them up well.

With an electric mixer, combine milk, butter, flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and eggs.

Using a wooden spoon, carefully incorporate the walnuts that have been chopped.

Put mixture in loaf pan. Bake the bread for 45–50 minutes until a skewer put into the centre comes out clean. Give warm bread.
