Grilled Pineapple Recipe

Love pineapple? Put it on the grill to upgrade! Grilled pineapple is great for breakfast or dessert and versatile.

INGREDIENT

-1 large, fresh pineapple -2 tablespoons brown sugar -Juice of 2 limes -2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted

INSTRUCTION

A large, sharp knife cuts pineapple top, bottom, and rind.Cut pineapple into ½-inch chunks. Using a circular cookie cutter, remove the core from each slice. Zip-top bag slices.

Step 1

Mix lime juice and brown sugar. Put pineapple and melted butter in the bag. Cover pineapple slices in bag. Relax 20–30 minutes.

Step 2

Preheat a grill or pan to medium. Prepare pineapple slices for grilling. Tenderize and caramelize pineapple in 3 minutes per side.

Step 3

Serve warm with ice cream, grilled pound cake, angel food cake, yogurt, etc.
