On Thanksgiving, you're too busy cooking a turkey, mashing potatoes, and baking pies to make a cocktail. You're ready to relax with a drink as you quickly open that last forgotten can of cranberry sauce, hoping someone has poured you some wine.
– 4 tablespoons butter– 4 tablespoons white miso– 1 cup brandy– ½ cup apple cider– 2 cups prosecco– 4 fresh bay leaves, for garnish

In a small saucepan, melt butter and miso over medium heat. Put brandy in a container. Put melted butter in brandy. Let mixture cool.

Butter curdles. After brandy cools to room temperature, cover and refrigerate overnight or 8 hours.

After butter solidifies, strain brandy to remove butter. Fill glasses with ice for cocktails. Add 1 ounce brandy to each glass.

Pour 1 ounce apple cider into each glass. Add 4 ounces prosecco to each glass. Decorate with bay leaves.
