Peppermint brownies are the perfect Christmas brownie! Just enough peppermint essence and chopped Candy Cane Kisses give these chewy, fudgy brownies a Christmas kick.
INGREDIENT
– 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate coarsely chopped– ¾ cup butter 12 tablespoon– 1 ½ cups granulated sugar– 3 egg– 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract– ¾ teaspoon pure peppermint extract– ¼ teaspoon kosher salt– 1 cup all-purpose flour– 2 milk chocolate bars 1.55 ounces each; broken into piece– 25 Candy Cane Kisses coarsely chopped

INSTRUCTION
Preheat oven to 350°F. Wrap an 8x8 baking pan in foil and nonstick spray.In a large microwave-safe bowl, microwave chocolate and butter for 1 minute at medium (50% power).

Mix chocolate every 30 seconds until almost melted. Whisk chocolate to melt. Add eggs, extracts, salt, and sugar. Combine flour slowly. Put half the batter in the pan.

Cover milk chocolate chips in brownie batter. Bake 30-35 minutes without overbaking. On cooling rack, sprinkle chopped Candy Cane Kisses over warm brownies. Cool completely before cutting.
