The best Pepperoni Pizza Biscuits are made by adding pepperoni, cheese, tomato sauce, and basil to a biscuit recipe!
INGREDIENTS

– 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour– 1 ½ Tbsp baking powder– 2 tsp granulated sugar– ½ tsp cream of tartar– ½ tsp salt– ¼ tsp pepper– ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small cube– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese– ½ cup diced pepperoni– 3 tsp finely chopped basil– 1 ¼ cup buttermilk– ½ cup pizza sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with Silpat or parchment.Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, cream of tartar, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.

Step 1
Work butter into flour with a pastry blender or your hands until coarse. Stir in shredded cheddar, pepperoni, and basil.

Mix buttermilk and pizza sauce into dry ingredients without overmixing. That dough will wet.

Step 3
Knead dough on lightly floured surface until it comes together. Sticky dough needs more flour. Make a ¾-inch dough round.

Cut dough rounds with a 2 ¾-inch biscuit cutter. Rework dough to cut more biscuits 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
